Listeners
You are welcome to attend any of the clinics given by Philippe Karl as a listener.
If you wish to watch a clinic just for one day, you are welcome to do this during the advanced training courses for the licensed riding instructors of the School of Légèreté.
For the three-year teachers' course to become a riding instructor of the School of Légèreté, however, participation as a listener is possible only for the whole duration of the course. Here, you have the opportunity to follow the progression of the riders all the way from their first steps in the philosophy of Légèreté up to High School. At the end of the course, the listeners will receive a corresponding certificate.
All the clinic dates (basic and advanced training courses) can be found here.
If you're interested in participating in one of the clinics as a listener, please contact the corresponding organizer.
The programme of the clinics is extensive: the riders are trained in dressage, work in hand, lungeing, jumping and giving lessons, both to their own students and to unknow guest riders. The practical lessons in the riding hall are complemented by an comprehensive theory lecture which leaves room for questions and comments.
Further information on the teachers' course and the advanced training courses can be found here.
Philippe Karl gives his lessons in English (or French or Italian, depending on the country and the student).
